Renee here...
One of the things I have learned from the past year of online marketing
is that goals are good for planning your progress and systems are good
for actually making progress.
Goals can provide direction and even push you forward in the short-term,
but eventually a well-designed system will always win. Having a system is
what matters. Committing to the process is what makes the difference.
That is one of the reasons why my teammate and I discussed ways to ensure
that you are productive so that you hit your daily numbers.
Rob Fraser and I laid out some specific tips to help you reach your numbers.
Some of the main tips and strategies we talked about are:
- Know what your numbers are...and have a step by step system that gets you to those numbers. We have a specific traffic plan in place and we follow it.
- Make sure you take care of your personal daily activities in your system BEFORE you get caught up in social media, following up with teammates, phone calls or training your teammates.
- Have specific expectations and instructions laid out in a welcome letter and follow-up emails to remind your teammates so that they understand the system AND that they need to learn and implement those instructions before contacting you. This is crucial...or you will waste time repeating these instructions.
- You are in business to make money, have financial freedom, live the lifestyle you want, etc...therefore you need to instill the expectation that you have a team of self-motivated leaders, NOT dependents.
- Make one video, blog post, email campaign per day. Whether you are new to these or not, the more you do them, the better you get at them. Doing these on a consistent basis will eventually increase your numbers because...your credibility as a marketer improves as long as you are putting out good content and doing it on a regular basis.
- Using the hootsuite software is a timesaver for putting out your content on the main social media sites such as Facebook, Google +, Linked In, Twitter, and Pinterest.
More exposure = more money in your pocket. Exposure to your business is in the
form of paid traffic and social media following. They work together if you're
doing things right.
Bottom line, the more consistent and efficient you are in your business, the
more money you'll make...isn't that why you went into business for yourself in
the first place?
and create an account so I can show you how to do the same for your business.
Let's Rock This!
