Leaders [ Invite You ] On a Journey and Then...

...Their Story Creates Other Leaders in the Process

Renee Sullivan here...

Reminding you that you can "opt out" of getting these emails
at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.

For the past few days I have spent time in New York City
catching a show, seeing some sites and, most importantly,
going on a college tour of New York University with my
daughter who is interested in possibly attending there.

I am bringing this up because one of my friends asked me if
my daughter was following in my footsteps. My response to him
was, "My daughter is smarter and more adventurous than I ever
was at her age (in fact, she turns 17 years old tomorrow-on
Veteran's Day in the USA) and she is not following me, she is
already on a journey, has an entourage and is leading others.

For example, she is one of a group of students that every year
(since she was in 3rd grade) volunteers for the annual Veterans
candy, granola bars, socks, coins drive. They collect these supplies
sort them, coordinate making baggies filled with these items...
as well as hand-made cards made by students from each school in
the community. Then they all visit the local Veteran's Shelter
to personally deliver them and spend a little time with the
veterans.

I am very grateful and proud of my daughter, and as her mother,
I can only hope that she continues to have this good work
ethic, shows responsibility for her actions, has faith, teaches
through her actions, attracts self-motivated people, is kind,
and empowers others.

These are the same qualities that true leaders have, and the kind
of people they attract in their business.

Great leaders create more leaders...that is how you create a
successful business. These are the ones who are transparent, the
ones who stick it out, even when others doubt or hate them or
when things get difficult. It is very true that if this were
too easy, EVERYONE would do it. Anyone can, but NOT EVERYONE
will do what it takes to get there.

So if you have these qualities, are ready to hone in on them and
are interested in seeing what I am doing to create more leaders,
then just contact me by email or message me on Facebook.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Renee Sullivan :)

P.S. My daughter walked confidently throughout the NYU tour and it didn't
even phase her that the campus is in the heart of NYC, and she even led us
to the subway station :)
